Wednesday, May 27th, 2009

In the past few years, we have seen a lot of changes as far as mobile technology is concerned. No one had ever thought of such a tremendous change and as a result, the latest mobile phones are at par with computers. Technologies like 3G, HSDPA, have given us more choices than one can ever expect in a small gadget. New and technologically advanced phones with Symbian OS make things quite easier as new applications can be downloaded. Latest mobile phones can also be categorized on the basis of their usage: business phones, music phones, camera phones, etc.mobile8

Bluetooth technology is one of the numerous developments that have taken the mobile phone market by storm. No wonder almost every mobile phone in the market flaunts this technology today.

How does it work?

1. Bluetooth is a wireless network technology, through which you can transfer data in the form of radio waves between a Bluetooth enabled phone and computers, laptops, printers, and other compatible devices.

2. The maximum range within which data can be shared through it is 10 meters.

Why go for a Bluetooth mobile phone?

1. Bluetooth is the most hassle free network technology for data sharing between compatible devices.

2. Bluetooth allows users to share all kinds of data, such as image files, music files, video files, and text documents.

3. You can share data even on the move between mobile devices as Bluetooth runs on a wireless network technology.

Finding Cell Phone Numbers

Thursday, May 7th, 2009

Perhaps you are like me, you get tons of phone calls on your mobile phone every day. I got rid of my home phone number, because I found it too costly to maintain both a mobile phone and a regular land line number. Now my cell phone is the way family and others contact me. Unfortunately, it also the reason I get numerous calls – most of them are from numbers I know, but I always get a few numbers on my missed calls that I do not recognize.mobile7

In the old days when everyone had their number through the main phone company, it was simple to learn who was coming up on the caller id. There were many free search sites where you could enter a reverse phone search. But cell phone numbers are not so easy- most are unpublished. So how do you go about finding cell phone numbers in this modern age?

There are websites on the web today that make the process of finding cell phone numbers a snap. You can do reverse lookups and find out who called very quickly. The web sites are inexpensive to use and work very well. I searched around the internet and learned that some of the sites that were claiming to perform this search for no cost were actually scams that were charging unfair fees after you signed up.
